Tin Ignots

Tin is most commonly alloyed with copper, bearing metal has a high percentage of tin as well. Bronze is mostly copper (12% tin), while addition of phosphorus gives phosphor bronze. Bell metal is also a copper–tin alloy, containing 22% tin.

Lead Ignots

Bismuth Ignots

The bismuth atom has a radius of 156 pm and a Van der Waals radius of 207 pm. In its elemental form, bismuth is a silvery white brittle metal. Bismuth is the most diamagnetic of all metals and, with the exception of mercury, its thermal conductivity is lower than any other metal.

It has good cold formability in the temper T4, but limited formability in T6 temper. Not suitable for very complex cross sections.
